Week 1 Term 1

Welcome to our first blog of 2017. This week we have been settling in, learning new routines and making new friends. Take a look at the photos below and check out a few of the skills we have been developing.
We are map makers and treasure hunters.

What are we learning in Week 2 Term 1

Letter Sounds: 'a' and 't'
Tricky Words: 
Writing: Our names and simple sentences
Maths: number recognition and ordering to 10
P.E.: No Child Left Inside/Swimming
Maori: Numbers to 10
Inquiry Theme:  Minibeast, ants
Art:  Egg Carton Ants
ICT: Letter School handwriting app
